Disqus Gives Life To Blog Comments

After Leo & Amber interviewed Daniel from Disqus on net@nite about this exciting new blog commenting system I thought I better check it out and give my own review. From what was being discussed it sounds like a great tool and a way to really breath some life blog comments and turn blog commenting into a real community.

Basically Disqus takes what is normally boring text blog comments and adds a whole lot of interactivity. Suddenly you can vote on comments, tracks comments across multiple blogs by users, subscribe to commenter’s via an RSS feed and track their comments on blogs all over the Internet and much more. This is just what blog comments has needed, a good shot in the arm and Disqus gives it that. I think it shows a lot of promise and gets the big Spuds thumbs up. You should check it out.
